? michigan and south carolina. >>> and we can't escape the storms around our parts tonight. top? >> no, some good news though. frederick county now is cleared of the severe thunderstorm warning as is loudoun county. that said the storms are still to your west. a storm that's actually going to enter frederick county shortly. it's crossing the river right now right around harpers ferry. this has hail right in here to the north of 67 and to the north of harpers ferry. it's going to head between brunswick and jefferson in the next half an hour. it is moving to the east at about 14 miles per hour. so that is the severe storm. my hunch is they will have to put a severe thunderstorm warning back in seat for loudoun or for frederick county depending on where this tracks. due east, it will be back into frederick county and maryland. we'll zoom back it a little bit and we find other showers and storms that are heavy and pounded, i mean pounded along i- 81 corridor here. this storm is on the west side of i-81. around gerardstown and this has got hail in it as we. in fact if we zoom in. i'll tell you ex

saw a fisherman try to catch a deer? father and son on a fishing trim in michigan -- trip in michigan. they see the fawn struggling, struggling. struggling. they pull the boat up to the pier and then the dad grabs the head of the deer and holds it above the water and then carefully lifts the deer on to the boat. they released the deer when they got to the shore and then probably did like a little check to make sure they didn't have any ticks on them. >> they do carry them. >> the son said you just let go of dinner. >> that's true. he might have done that. the showers and storms across parts of michigan and wisconsin this morning on the warm side. the other part is there's moisture available to be drawn north and there it is in atlanta in morning, eastern alabama, over to the coast there, areas near the georgia south carolina border and all of that lifting off to the north northeast toward us. so at times like we've had the last couple of days get into the waves of moisture. timing is always a little difficult but you'll notice even by this morning some isolated lighter showers. the heavier stuff into western north carolina by noon. this will try to move northeast in the afternoon and evening hours and that's why tonight a better chance for showers and storms. tomorrow morning 6:00 a.m. could be damp in spots, midday tomorrow, better chance of showers north and east of town and in the mountain but that may be the case on thursday and look this general flow of southwest to northeast moisture with us, even into friday, and even into the weekend, so we'll be dealing with that. quickly ophelia by the way in the tropics. this has forms and winds o

. this morning, we're watching showers and storms off into pennsylvania, new york state, michigan. ontario. around here, clear to partly cloudy skies as a very comfortable start to the day. we've got 68 here. 61 down in southern maryland, culpepper, fredericksburg. prince frederick with 61. we've got steven city checking in with 54. winchester 63. off to the east, easton and salisbury, 61. ocean city this morning is very comfortably cool, 57. in town, 68. wind southwest at 3 miles per hour. the dew points have crept up a little bit. still not a bad range. 61. out toward culpepper, just a little bit of fog out there. 3/4 mile visibility. you see the thunderstorms up here. we won't worry about that as much as what is going on in the gulf of mexico as a tropical wave is trying to get going here. this could become an area of low pressure the next day or two. become a storm. maybe a big storm here. models are indicating tropical development likely this would become a depression first and potentially lee is the next storm on the list. around here, weak disturbance passing off to the north. that'

see some of the high clouds coming in now. showers well to the west in ohio and into indiana, michigan and down to texas, actually. we'll look at that in a moment. a lot of moisture that wants to kind of move toward us. mid-50s in gaithersburg. 40s in oakland. 60 down in richmond. locally, we've got 56 from lovettsville, haymarket is 58. laytonsville to laurel at 55 degrees. springfield to alexandria is 60. andrews, 50. even in prince frederick this morning, a report of 60 degrees. a little bit will do. dew point 54 degrees. we're looking good windwise east-northeast at 7. the chill toward friday, if you remember the weekend, we're talking about 20s in wisconsin. now they're in the 50s. detroit and chicago in the low to mid-40s. now they're in the low to mid- 60s. the chill is in northern maine. we won't have any of the really cool nights. looking at lots of 60s as the cloud and moisture increase. this goes down to texas. all of the showers, mississippi valley, up through the great lakes, they're all moving east and the flow of moisture is moving east. this is not a situation like le
